Our Ancient Egypt Study

Our Ancient Egypt Study

Last year we started our History curriculum with Blossom and Root’s River of Voices. Now while I loved the curriculum and would recommend it to anyone looking for an unbiased US History, my daughter did not love it and grew bored. The benefits of homeschooling … we switched it up! She started watching a lot of documentaries and became interested… Read More

Under the Sea: Ocean Themed Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers

One… Read More

Third Grade Homeschool Curriculum Choices 2021-2022

Last year I spent months trying to figure out which curriculum I would use for each subject for my second grader. Because of that, we are taking an easy… Read More

The Rhyming Rabbit: Book Activities

We have been learning poetry in language arts with my second grader so I thought this book was a perfect addition to a week’s activities. This activity pack comes with 3… Read More

Our History Curriculum: Blossom and Root “River of Voices”

It took us a bit longer than I had anticipated to get through the first lesson in the “River of Voices” curriculum by Blossom and Root. It made me a little nervous because I had also bought some of the Evan-Moor workbooks to do along side the “River of Voices”. I sat down this afternoon to see if I could… Read More

We are in Christmas preparation mode over here whi We are in Christmas preparation mode over here which means cleaning and organizing the playroom to make room for any new toys coming in. This LEGO table we put together would make a great Christmas gift if you have a LEGO lover like we do! I put it together for Less than $200 from IKEA and it’s used daily. Right now while they are building, I’m sitting on the floor sorting pieces. Probably the worst part about having so many LEGOs. But at least with the table, we don’t step on them anymore 🤣. Details about the table are on my blog.
