Artist Study: Dale Chihuly

We love art projects and crafts over here. We actually have two walk in closets dedicated to our art supplies. One closet is all the things that the kids have regular access to whenever they feel like making something and the other has our more dedicated supplies. Needless to say, we have a lot of […]

Custom Lego Table for under $200!

My daughter has been really in to LEGOs since she was about two years old. We tried the DUPLOs and she was not interested at all. So we started collecting the regular LEGO sets with all the small pieces. Now, 6 years later, we have thousands of LEGOs. Maybe hundreds of thousands… We needed a […]

For those first five years, she wasn’t in school so we didn’t have a bunch of friends […]

The Rhyming Rabbit: Book Activities

I love doing book activities because any age child can participate (which I have found as a must while homeschooling so no kid is bothering another kid during learning). We have been learning poetry in language arts with my second grader so I thought this book was a perfect addition to a week’s activities. This […]

Easy Country Projects to do Every Week

One of our favorite places to go is Disney World. We are lucky to live not too far away and get to visit quite often. And one of our favorite places to go in Disney is Epcot. The kids love the rides, even though there are not that many there, and the adults love the […]
